A year ago I was talking with a friend; wondering what was the likelihood for the United States to elect a black, woman or gay as president. (Of course admitting to ourselves that probably the United States has already had a gay president) We concluded that the American public was not ready for neither.
Today, I was reminded that we are the people. As part of the majority we hold the same concerns about the future of this country. We are the ones that have to experience the foreclosures, the low pay checks, and the $5 milk gallon. (The Bush Administration Legacy)
We need to keep moving forward. This country was not build for the rich. On the contrary it was build by people seeking change from injustices of religious fanaticism and monarchical monopolies. I believe we are ready for change. I am going to vote on it!
